The are two other holidays mentioned in the Bible, Hanukkah (Chanukah or the Feast of Dedication) and Purim. Children Are A Gift From GOD

"The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture." ~ Doug Phillips

Psa 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Psa 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Psa 127:5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Psa 128:3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

Pro 17:6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Tit 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Tit 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

The Lawless Will Be Burnt up at the Brightness of His Coming

Isa 65:1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

Isa 65:2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
Isa 65:3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
Isa 65:4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Isa 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Isa 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Isa 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Those who do not obey the Bible, and continue to eat swine's flesh will be burnt up at the coming of the LORD.

He Restoreth My Soul

Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Psa 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psa 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

The Christian Woman's Veiling

1Co 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

1Co 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
1Co 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
1Co 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

In 1 Cor. ch. 11 it begins with the headship order. Yahweh,Yahshua, Man ,and Woman. A Woman's headcovering is a symbol that she is obedient to the headship order Yahweh has created, and by her covering her head, she is saying that," I am not my own head, my husband is my head." When a woman does not wear a headcovering, she is dishonouring her head , who is her Husband. (1Co 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. )

Now the Bible says that a woman's long hair is her glory. The Bible also says that a man with long hair is a shame.
Here is that verse;
1Co 11:13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
1Co 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
1Co 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
Now this word "covering" in verse 15 is not the same word "covered" in verse 6. The King James version used the same words that are two different words in the Greek New Testament. We can see this from The Strong's concordance.

The word "covered" in verse 6 is this;
covered,G2619
κατακαλύπτω
katakaluptō
kat-ak-al-oop'-to
From G2596 and G2572; to cover wholly, that is, veil: - cover, hide.

And then the word"covering" in verse 15 is this;
G4018
περιβόλαιον
peribolaion
per-ib-ol'-ah-yon
Neuter of a presumed derivative of G4016; something thrown around one, that is, a mantle, veil: - covering, vesture.

So we can see that the word "covered "in verse 6 means a veil,to hide, something you can't see through, and that the word"covering" in verse 15 means something thrown around or a mantle (when your hair is long it is cast around you like a mantle)

If the words were the same thing, as many Christians think it is , then Paul would have used the same word. But he didn't use the same word, and most newer Bible translations fix this error that the KJV made. I love and read the KJV, but it has it's mistakes such a using the word LORD and GOD in all capitals in place of Yahweh's name. They removed Yahweh's name from His own book thousands of times. That is why doing word studies are so important ,if you truly want to seek truth and obey Yahweh, and not man and it's denomination.
Psa 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

So it says in verse 6
1Co 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

The Bible says that if a woman will not wear a headcovering, then let her be shorn. Women who do not cover and cut their hair are obeying these scriptures. They do not wear a headcovering, and they are shorn. The Bible does call it a shame, and I would seek to obey Yahweh than worrying about my pride with my hair. We see this demonstrated through all the fashion and money worldly woman spend on styling their hair. It is pomp and it's pride. But by wearing a headcovering, we are covering up that pride. We are covering our head and acknowledging that Our Husband's are our heads, that we are obeying GOD's headship order. By covering our heads, we are covering our glory, our hair.

1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

And not only should we veil our heads when we pray, but the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing.

1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

So GOD's plan for a woman is she is to have long hair. However your hair grows, it is not your fault if it doesn't grow well, but if you cut it, it is your fault. It is GOD's plan for us to obey the headship order Yahweh,Yahshua, man and woman, and that our headcovering is a symbol that we are obeying the headship order, and that we cover our head because Our Husband's are our head, that if we do not cover our head, we are dishonouring Our Head which is Our Husband's.

That our long hair is our glory, but we cover our glory when we pray, for no one is to glory in GOD's presence, and that the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, therefore we wear our covering throughout the day , being obediant to pray without ceasing, covering our Head because Our Husband's are our head, and not cutting our long hair because Yahweh says it is our glory, and to be shorn is a shame.

May we continue to seek the truth and live pleasing to our Heavenly Father, in all reverence,joy, and obediance.
